HOUSEaHOLICS is a collective dedicated to fostering House Culture—House Dance and House Music—across Hesse, with a strong focus on Frankfurt am Main. Alongside workshops, panel talks, and club nights, they curate a monthly jam under the motto “Where Dancers and DJs connect.” The aim is to bridge the House dance and House music scenes, encourage exchange, and build a sustainable, interconnected community. In a rotating format, HOUSEaHOLICS invites dancers and DJs from the local and wider European scene to share their artistry, perspectives, and energy.

At jam Vol. 9 on March 13, Dav Vinci will be our guest. He is a hip-hop dancer from French Guiana. He moved to Paris to pursue his dance studies, where he received academic training in jazz, classical ballet, and contemporary dance. During this time, he also discovered salsa and capoeira. Drawn to house music, he immersed himself more and more deeply in the world of house and club culture. A trip to New York had a lasting impact on his understanding of house culture. He calls his vision of house “PLÉZI” (Pleasure) — a spiritual feeling of joy and aliveness. For him, house is a space for encounter, connection, and sharing all the diversity he carries within his body and mind, shaped by his human and dance experiences.
