Barrier-Free Access to the Performing Arts – European Exchange in Riga
KulturRegion FrankfurtRheinMain is the German cooperation institution for the European project OpenRegioCulture – Barrier-Free Access to Culture. From September 8–10, 2026, the European project partners will meet in Riga, Latvia. The meeting focuses on accessibility and inclusion in cultural institutions, at festivals, and in the performing arts. The program brings together project partners, stakeholders, cultural practitioners, and experts to exchange experiences, explore local practices, and discuss how cultural resources and experiences can be made more accessible to diverse audiences.
We are pleased that Dörthe Krohn from Produktionshaus NAXOS is joining the KulturRegion FrankfurtRheinMain delegation in Riga. We look forward to gaining new insights and building new networks that we can make use of for our organization, Frankfurt, and the Rhine-Main region.
