98th Naxos Hall Concert
Naxos Hallenkonzerte

Events

Saturday
13. June 26, 20:00 Uhr

In the long-term project The Periodic Table, ensemble mosaik explores the idea of musically interpreting all 118 chemical elements. Each element serves as the starting point for an individual artistic reflection, bringing together scientific structures, socio-global perspectives, and aesthetic imagination. In collaboration with the Naxos Hall Concerts, five international perspectives will receive their world premieres.

The framework for the evening is created by chemist and artist Joachim Pitz, whose works make chemical reactions visually perceptible. Through visual art, he establishes interdisciplinary connections between music and science.

To conclude the concert, composer Ricardo Eizirik presents an electronic live set performed on a modular synthesizer.
