Under the title Parallaxen, over 20 students and alumni from HfG Offenbach, HfMDK Frankfurt, Kunsthochschule Kassel, and Städelschule present works in an event curated by Salomé Menzel and Supattra nink Tan, who are studying in the Curatorial Studies cooperation program of Goethe University Frankfurt and Städelschule. The exhibition brings together emerging positions that engage with the potential and challenges of digital media through installations, videos, concerts, and performances.

Parallaxen is framed by two evening concerts on May 4 and May 6, 2026. At the opening, composer Marcus Schmickler performs on the paper tube organ, developed at the Studio for Electronic Music and Acoustics at HfMDK. For the closing, HfMDK presents two acousmatic and immersive 8-channel pieces by the English composer and pioneer of electronic music, Trevor Wishart.
