Crisis (Crime)

Caroline and René, our two protagonists, arrive at the outermost edge of a pendulum’s motion, uncannily suspended between exhaustion and insatiability, as everything comes to a standstill. Who or what made them go cold? They set off on a staggering and persistent search for those responsible for the crisis-ridden nature of their midlife. They come across desires and self images that seem to have strangely detached from them. What once felt so familiar now turns into a sign of suspicion. What mysteries does this inward gaze hold? What draws desire today? How does one distinguish between what should be abandoned and what should be defended? Oh, this outrageous, crime-like nature of the crisis!
