Love often arrives unexpectedly — unique and overwhelming. It can be romantic, passionate, and fleeting. LOVE by Billinger & Schulz approaches the subject through the language of the musical, a genre that has historically expressed love in the most dramatic and emotional ways. An ensemble of contemporary dancers embraces this intensity directly: tenderness, longing, and bodies surrendering to emotion. The performance also explores moments when love reaches its limits — when outside realities break in and challenge intimacy. LOVE celebrates emotion and vulnerability while asking what remains of love when the world around it is shaken.
