The times are serious: border controls on one side, boundless technology on the other. Keep on dancing?
In the solo performance by dancer Camilla Fiumara, the question arises whether the imperfect, the childlike, can hold a power of salvation.
Amid the fog of the present stands a white cube—a space to move freely and expand the boundaries of the world. Inside, Camilla Fiumara begins: dot, dot, line. A choreography unfolds between departure, moments of tipping, and openness, questioning the transformative power of dance.
Drawing inspiration from Kafka’s description of Odysseus and the Sirens, another kind of odyssey resonates here. The body sketches (d)reams and lets imperfection appear as a quiet form of hope in the present.
