Alina Huppertz

Alina Helen Huppertz works as a freelance performer, vocal coach, and director in Frankfurt am Main. Until 2022, she studied at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK Frankfurt), where she completed her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance with a focus on opera, graduating with distinction. Before that, she completed her first state examination in Music and German for teaching at secondary schools. As a versatile singer working across different genres, Alina Huppertz has participated in numerous music theatre productions and world premieres. She has performed with Ensemble Modern and at various theatres, including Schauspiel Frankfurt and Staatstheater Darmstadt. In the independent theatre scene, she has collaborated with directors such as Sahar Rezaei and Jan Philipp Stange (“Szenario”, IMPULSE Festival 2023). In recent years, alongside her singing career, Alina Huppertz has increasingly taken on conceptual and directing responsibilities in artistic projects and has developed her own formats for music theatre productions. “SCHÖPFUNG” (October 2023) was her first official directing work and received support, among others, through the Ottilie Roederstein Nachwuchsstipendium of the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts (HMWK). Together with other artists, collectives, and music ensembles, she is committed to promoting a respectful and future-oriented music theatre culture.
