INNERE SICHERHEIT
Termine
Performance as part of MADE.DATE 2025
It is August 2, 2018, around noon. At the 1st Frankfurt police precinct, a person sits down at a computer in the duty room, opens one of the police information systems, and types a name into the search field. Ninety minutes later, a Frankfurt lawyer receives a threatening letter signed “NSU 2.0.” It will be the first of many such letters, targeting politicians, lawyers, journalists, and artists—many of them women or people perceived as migrant.
What inner insecurities are triggered by these inhuman words? Will words be followed by deeds? Is this an attack on democracy?
With the help of trial transcripts and interviews with those affected and with experts, the team led by Marie Schwesinger gathers facts, questions, cross-references, and loose ends surrounding the “NSU 2.0” complex. Where can we feel safe if the threat comes from within the system itself?
