Saw the light of day in Cologne on the Rhine and a few years later the lights of the stage. In 1981, swapped the Rhine for the Main and Schauspiel Köln for Schauspiel Frankfurt. For 35 years, at home as an actress at Theater Willy Praml. For 25 years, actively involved in all the changes and upheavals at the Naxoshalle, especially in the role of a committed fighter for the (always too tight) finances.

Simon Möllendorf is a public figure and one of the most important cultural influencers of his generation. He rose to fame through his emotional Titanic tribute marking the farewell of the infamous studioNAXOS – an iceberg of emotions. On the side, he is a professional tennis player with an artistic backhand and runs the “Birth Canal,” where he baptizes people and gives them a new identity. Anyone who comes out is never the same again.

Born in the Ruhr area and absorbed a love of coal mines and industrial buildings with the mother's milk. Since 2000, has claimed the Naxoshalle as a second home with Willy Praml. As an actor, stage designer, dramaturge and director, has shaped the space and has been shaped by it. Inventing theater where there is no theater. Nils Wildegans is the Technical Director of Produktionshaus NAXOS and has been deeply connected to the space since the founding of studioNAXOS. His artistic work includes stage and costume design, spatial concepts, exhibition design, and lighting concepts, which he often develops in collaboration with other artists. In addition to his work at NAXOS, he is part of the group ELEGANZ AUS REFLEX and holds a teaching position at the HfG Offenbach.

Willy Praml is Willy Praml. Encountered the Occident in a monastery boarding school. Encountered the theater with Fritz Kortner. Then: pioneer of theater work outside of theater since the 60s. At the turn of the millennium, turned the Naxoshalle into a theater, and today, together with pioneers of the youngest generation, has transformed it into the Produktionshaus NAXOS.

Political scientist, former journalist, salonnière, performer, press spokeswoman, copywriter, company founder, publisher, catering site manager, production manager for independent performing arts—or simply a generalist. Passionate about dance and theater and in love with the Naxoshalle. With over 30 years of scientific, professional and personal experience in the field of inclusion and accessibility.

Carolin Millner has been working as a freelance theater director since 2016. She is one of the co-founders of studioNAXOS and part of the group ELEGANZ AUS REFLEX. Working in a mode of recollection, as a writer-director, Carolin Millner combines in-depth factual research with linguistically precise fictionalization that open up new perspectives and points of view.

Josefine Rauch is responsible for social media presence and part of public relations at NAXOS—behind the scenes, but with an impact on the outside world. In addition to her work here, she realizes her own artistic-documentary projects as a photographer and is involved in exhibition projects and film productions.

As a public dramaturg at Produktionshaus NAXOS, Björn Fischer moves between third-party funding acquisition, concept development, and the question of how we can continue to open ourselves to the future and to the city. In his artistic practice, he seeks a radically ethical engagement with the present by colliding algorithms, machines, and more-than-human bodies in meditative, resistant works that aim to imagine new forms of coexistence. He is a member of neco_nart and dorfproduct, and also works as an ambassador for the Junge Theaterwerkstatt am Zoo.

Andrea Hagel was born in Friedberg, Hesse and lives in Frankfurt am Main. She studied theater, literature and German studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. As a cineaste, she worked in the cinema during her studies. She has been working in press and public relations at Theater Willy Praml since 2012.

Christian Köhler is responsible for the good sound and tone of the house, and also creates wonderful lighting atmospheres. He studied History and German Studies, trained in event technology, and also makes music. For his job, he regularly travels down from the north – because the conditions and possibilities of the listed Naxoshalle are truly unique: demanding and fascinating. He also works independently as a freelancer on the side.

He ensures order, cleanliness, and a good atmosphere in and around the house in every sense. A true jack-of-all-trades, he is a trained carpenter, has driven trams, knows his way around IT, can run a bar – and much more. Thomas Hoffmann’s passion is music. He is a singer-songwriter, with German rock as his genre.
