For independent productions (theatre, dance, performance, others)

We are delighted about your interest in realizing your artistic project at Produktionshaus NAXOS.

The submission deadlines are based on the application deadlines for production funding from the Cultural Office of the City of Frankfurt am Main:
Submission deadline at Produktionshaus NAXOS on May 1st for performances in the first half of the following year.
Submission deadline at Produktionshaus NAXOS on December 1st for performances in the second half of the following year.

Please submit the following documents by e-mail to info@produktionshausnaxos.de:
– Description of the artistic project on max. 2 pages
– Cost and financing plan for the requested project
– References and expected cast list
– Desired month of performance
– Desired venue: large hall, small venue, theatre box, foyer, other …
– Should the production be accessible? Audio description, sign language, relaxed performance, …

Requirements and information:
– Submitting artist/production team with work focus in Frankfurt am Main. The project must be funded by the Frankfurt Cultural Office. However, when applying for the open call, no application needs to have been submitted there yet and no approval is required.
– Minimum fees as recommended by the Federal Association for the Independent Performing Arts
– The production undertakes to register all KSK fees for its cast and crew itself.
– The production is responsible for registration and invoicing with GEMA and for other licenses and fees.
– All entrance fees remain with Produktionshaus NAXOS
– A jury will decide on the submissions by mid-June resp. mid-January.
