A blind date with system failure.

We invite you to fall in love again – with something you’ve long lost: the belief in a shared future.
The rules of the world’s slowest speed-dating event are simple: stay seated and listen. Filters and algorithms will take care of the system change for you. No one knows whether the connection will be strong enough to truly change anything. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that you stay. Reality has already said its goodbyes.

For about thirty minutes—or longer—we test whether the world can still change.
Or at least your feed. And your attitude.
They say love begins with eye contact. Our attention lasts three seconds before it moves on,
like the Doomsday Clock. It was once said that only goldfish forget everything after three seconds.
That was a lie. But that they see the world anew each time—
that’s a notion we like, and a capacity we’ve lost since we started dissolving into our feeds.

Too Lonely is an attempt at a reboot.
For a brief moment, human and machine meet — voice and silence, crash and protocol.
All participants know they must change so that something can remain.
Fortunately, we are not the first to fail at imagining other worlds.
We cannot promise that everyone will see, feel, or hope for the same.
But we can promise that the end will feel like a beginning.

Please register in advance for this experiment.

Be a part — and come apart.
