Die Geschichte eines Ohres, das sich taub stellte
Termine
A physical performance about the choice—to listen or not to listen.
We live in a world flooded with information. At some point, shutting down seems like the only way to survive. Yet behind this protective mechanism, something else often hides—indifference.
What happens when people stop listening? Where is the boundary between distancing and apathy? And doesn’t deafness eventually become a threat to oneself?
This performance explores the fragile balance between openness and vulnerability, between attentiveness to the world and the attempt to shield oneself from it.
Without words, built on physicality and visual presence, the piece speaks through movement and existence. The performers come from contemporary dance, but here there is no dancing—only being. Movement is experienced, not displayed.
