Making of a Man
Lecture Performance in English with German surtitles

A dancer, a projection screen, a live camera, a pair of silicone abs, and the question:
How does a body “make” masculinity? Who is allowed to make masculinity, and what potential lies in shaking the seemingly carved-in-stone codes of masculinity?

Through pop culture, politics, and personal interviews, Making of a Man moves between TED Talk and gender manifesto.
