Jesus in the Industrial Basilica

Whether Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox or unaffiliated with any church – Jesus Christ, his life, his suffering and his death continue to fascinate people of all denominations to this day. His idea of placing the human being at the center of faith was revolutionary more than 2,000 years ago.

Jesus – Prophet or Political Figure?

The Last Days in Jerusalem

When, many years ago, we began to recreate the life of Jesus on the textual basis of the four Gospels for our theater production in the listed Naxoshalle – a huge three-aisled industrial basilica – we could not have imagined that we were founding a tradition that has now inspired and moved our audiences for 20 years at Christmas and Easter.

The press wrote:

“An exciting experiment that neither Christian nor pagan should miss.”
Frankfurter Neue Presse

“Rarely has the story of Jesus been retold in such a fresh, bold and yet serious way.”
Evangelische Sonntagszeitung
